The Management of COVERBOARD declares its commitment to effective and efficient management                            of road safety and sets as one of the main corporate goals the achievement of excellent performance in this field.

The Management measures and monitors the company’s performance through efficiency indicators and the corresponding targets. The continuous improvement of the performance of road safety indicators is a guideline for all the employees and partners of the company. Furthermore, the company seeks to create an environment that promotes the safety and well-being of drivers, employees and the general public.

To achieve these goals, the company applies a documented management system for Road Safety in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 39001:2012. Through the implementation of the Road Safety Management System, the commitment of the Management is diffused in all the relevant processes, functions and activities of the company.

In particular, the company Management is committed to:

• To provide as mandatory the participation of personnel from all levels of the hierarchy in the effort to achieve the goals for Road Safety.
• Τo ensure the highest protection of drivers/co-drivers.
• To comply with all applicable legislations and regulations related to Road Safety.
• To plan and implement specific actions to achieve Road Safety objectives.
• To ensure all the necessary resources for the continuous improvement of performance regarding Road Safety.
• To encourage and cooperate with any interested party who can contribute to the consolidation of a Road Safety mentality and its promotion.
• To communicate to those who influence performance in Road Safety matters the importance that the Management itself attaches to compliance with the requirements of the Management System according to ISO 39001:2012 and to the achievement of Road Safety objectives.
• To continuously improve the Road Safety Management System through data collection and analysis, staff training and awareness, and implementation of good practices.
• To communicate to all employees the importance that Management itself attaches to compliance with any legal or regulatory requirement related to Road Safety.
